Karen Ignagni serves as Chief Executive Officer of the EmblemHealth family of companies, which includes EmblemHealth, AdvantageCare Physicians, ConnectiCare, and WellSpark. 

Ms. Ignagni has won many accolades for her leadership in the health care industry due to her extensive health policy insight and leadership, earning recognition by national publications, including The New York Times, National Journal, 
The Hill, Time magazine, the Washingtonian, 
Fortune magazine, and Modern Healthcare.

Mark Meador serves as President of ConnectiCare. Mr. Meador oversees our presence in Connecticut and Massachusetts. In addition, Mr. Meador serves as general counsel for ConnectiCare.

President, WellSpark

Andi Campbell is a progressive executive with an emphasis on driving results through people. As the President of WellSpark Health, she is responsible for developing and delivering holistic, “total person” well-being programs to thousands of employees across the U.S. Andi is an experienced senior HR leader and previously SVP, Head of People + Culture for LAZ Parking, one of the largest parking companies in the world. You will find accolades for Andi’s work with people strategies in CLO, ELearning, Parking and TD Magazine. She was awarded on the list of the Top Young Trainers by Training Magazine in 2012 and as a “Game Changer” award by Workforce Magazine in 2014. You can hear Andi’s passion for people in her TEDx Hartford talk from 2017 or her DisruptHR talk from 2018. Honorably recognized as the Women in Parking Impact Award winner in 2020, Andi is also a registered yoga teacher, certified Intuitive Coach, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and black belt in Tang Soo Do. She has an MS in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, a BA in English.

Mike Palmateer

President, EmblemHealth Family of Companies

Mike Palmateer serves as President of the EmblemHealth family of companies. He brings 40 years of insurance industry experience and has served the company in many capacities during his 16 years with EmblemHealth, including as Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Palmateer currently oversees sales and product management, provider network development, facilities, and business transformation, which includes information technology and business operations. Prior to joining the organization in 2006, Mr. Palmateer was Vice President, Controller for WellChoice, Inc. d/b/a/ Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, a leading health insurance carrier in New York. In that role, Mr. Palmateer led many significant initiatives, including transforming the finance function in preparation for Empire’s conversion from a not-for-profit to a for-profit company. Prior to Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Mike progressed steadily through the Finance Division at the Guardian Life Insurance Company. Mr. Palmateer is a graduate of Indiana University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also earned an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Jersey.

Chief Legal Officer

Jeffrey Chansler serves as Chief Legal Officer for the EmblemHealth family of companies. Mr. Chansler oversees all legal functions for the enterprise as well as Labor Relations for EmblemHealth.

Heather Tamborino serves as Chief Financial Officer for the EmblemHealth family of companies. Ms. Tamborino oversees enterprise financial functions, procurement, risk adjustment, and payment integrity.

Bill Voigt serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for the EmblemHealth family of companies. Mr. Voigt oversees employee relations, employee engagement, employee benefits and incentives, professional development, training, and recruitment.

Thomas MacMillan serves as Chief Operating Officer for the EmblemHealth family of companies. Mr. MacMillan oversees business transformation, including all areas of information technology and data and analytics.

Debra M. Lightner serves as Chief Compliance Officer for the EmblemHealth family of companies. Ms. Lightner oversees the corporate, regulatory, and privacy compliance functions, and the Special Investigations Unit.

Senior Vice President, Medical Management & Chief Health Equity Officer

Abdou Bah serves as Senior Vice President, Medical Management and Chief Health Equity Officer for the EmblemHealth family of companies. Mr. Bah oversees key population health management functions, including quality improvement, care management, utilization management, pharmacy, and the implementation of clinical initiatives to improve the health of members that EmblemHealth covers.
