Connecticare To Open Retail Centers For Connecticut Residents
FARMINGTON, CT (September 29, 2016) – ConnectiCare, one of Connecticut’s leading health plans, announces the opening of new retail centers this fall. In October, ConnectiCare is opening its flagship sales and service center at 1487 Pleasant Valley Road in Manchester.
At this state-of-the art center, ConnectiCare benefits consultants will assist members with claims, finding a doctor and how to use their plan. This in-person service is available to all ConnectiCare members. In addition, the ConnectiCare center will offer health education seminars and events, serve as a gathering place for health support groups and connect people to community resources.
ConnectiCare benefits consultants will be available to help insurance shoppers compare plans and prices and enroll in individual plans, including those sold through Access Health CT and Medicare Advantage plans. Convenient appointment times will be offered including evenings and Saturdays, and walk-ins are welcome.
Three more retail centers will open beginning in late November inside the CliniSanitas Medical Centers in Newington, Bridgeport and Orange.
“We know health insurance is complicated and sometimes you want to speak to someone face to face. You can do that in our retail centers. We see these centers as another way for us to deliver the high-quality service we have been delivering to our neighbors for the past 35 years,” said David Gordon, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Innovation at ConnectiCare.
