The presentation, titled “Aligning Benefit Design and Incentives,” focused on using benefit design as a lever to drive early prevention, detection and education, while controlling employer costs and increasing employee wellness. Participants learned about the following:

- Identifying targeted objectives (e.g., diabetes, heart disease) and the incentives or plan design features that help meet those objectives

- Various communication strategies for success
