FARMINGTON, CT (June 6, 2019)– ConnectiCare, one of Connecticut’s leading health plans, has a long-standing history of giving back to local communities. ConnectiCare employees volunteer at several events throughout Connecticut and they were at the Ellen P. Hubbell School in Bristol on June 6, volunteering for Junior Achievement of Southwest New England’s JA in a Day program.
JA in a Day is a high impact way to deliver Junior Achievement lessons for a particular grade level all in the same day. ConnectiCare employees led classroom discussions on workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy with students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
